I had a childhood that was full of exploring.
Living along the country roads and rural routes of a small town in Southern Illinois, you could find me walking the rows of corn fields and climbing through trees in the forest to build my next project. I was lucky to have a few different ponds & lakes within walking distance as well. I would often follow the path as far as I could in a day.
This thrill of searching into the unknown has stayed with me throughout my career. I love learning and growing my skillset within the multidisciplinary art/maker community. Below are a few personal projects that have become valuable assets in my life that help me inspire creativity in others.

"After Thanksgiving in 2013 the husband and wife duo that make up The Prairie State headed into the woods of Tryon Farm, along the coast of Michigan City, Indiana. It was time to record some of the material that had been milling about the past couple of years. The Live at Tryon Farm EP is a collection of seven songs that were performed live in the woods that weekend. They hiked through the forest, chased black squirrels, burned their share of the wood pile, and recorded to the sunset. It was a great 48 hours."
